The money we earn from our fundraising efforts goes directly to the orchestra program to provide funding for new instruments, clinicians for sectional instruction, orchestra trips, and other expenses.
Dine-Out Nights
Who doesn’t love have a reason not to cook or do the dishes? Let us give you one every month! Support our orchestra program by eating out at local restaurants that give a percentage of sales directly to MVOPO. We’ll post the details every month on the News page.
Dinner Fundraiser
Held in conjunction with the Surround Sound Concert and Raffle, we invite parents, grandparents, friends, and community members to join us for a catered dinner. We encourage you to purchase your dinner tickets in advance so we can guarantee you will have the entree of your choice.
Surround Sound Concert and Raffle
The excitement is practically tangible for our most anticipated concert of the year! All five orchestras convene to deliver a musical performance unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before. Surrounded by young musicians performing high energy music, dramatic theatrics, and the appearance of famous “guests,” this is a concert you won’t soon forget.
Arizona ECA Tax Credit Program
Arizona Law (ARS 43-1089.01) allows married couples filing jointly a tax credit of up to $400 and individual taxpayers a tax credit of up to $200 when they contribute to extracurricular activities in public schools. Contributions for the prior calendar year must be postmarked or paid online by April 15.
This tax credit is available to all who reside in Arizona and have a tax liability at least equal to the amount of their donation. Corporations are not eligible to contribute.You do not have to be a parent of a child in our school district to donate and benefit from this law.
